This year the jewel in the crown of the international design calendar sparkled in glorious sunshine. Despite tumultuous markets, 2,100 exhibitors from 37 countries welcomed over 300,000 visitors at the sold-out 169,000m2 exhibition halls of Rho Fiera Milano, and throughout the city in showrooms, exhibition spaces and even palazzos for FuoriSalone. Trade visitors from the UK made up just 1.7% of attendees - but those that made the trip were rewarded with exclusive previews at the world's biggest design fair, in the Capital of Design, Milan. Salone del Mobile - along with this year's biennial Euroluce is an unrivalled chance to catch up with existing contacts, forge new alliances and indulge in a hefty dose of contemporary contract and residential design.
Fast
Fast presented new products at Milan Design Week - both at Salone del Mobile in Rho Fiera and at Fast Milano, the brand's flagship store in Milan - exploring colour as a distinctive element of its design language. Fast showcased refreshed colour palette and new collections signed by designers Lievore Asociados, Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces.
The UnDueTre collection designed by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces is a modular sofa system that adapts in a few simple moves to different configurations, transforming every moment outdoors. The Naca collection - again the product of Meda & Quincoces' creativity, expands with low tables with a refined and versatile design.
Lievore Asociados extends the Solaris collection with exclusive sunloungers that combine comfort and elegance to create the perfect outdoor ambience.

Ferri 1956
Ferri 1956 again expanded their collection, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The collection now includes modular sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, beds, a dining table and dining chairs.
Ferri 1956 débuted two new sofa systems - Amsterdam and Manila, Blade dining table and dining chairs and dining armchairs, and a new coffee table collections - Olimpia.

Lammhults
This year Lammhults shared a stand with sister company, and acoustic solution specialist, Abstracta.
Visitors to the stand were treated to an exclusive preview the 3 new Bau modular units that open up a whole new world of exciting configuration possibilities.
The stand also featured the Cinema Chair & Chicago trolley, Archal Chairs & Funk Table, Tension Trolley, S70-3 stools, S70-12 coat-stand, Taburett Plus Chair & Ciao tables.
